DEATH BLOOD AND DEATH GLORY

Ahhh the answer is easy just read the sign on the High ground. Blood and Glory now you die... or more blood then Glory. the pain in death is terrible but it may be worse to live on in pain and die later in a bed like a dog... At one time I had a fancy a daydream or is it a enddream or nightmare? yes well it seemed if they came perhaps it would be a Glory like the movie "Glory" (It wa sa good movie "Glory" I say watch it - without your kids )I wanted to die with my boots on in the Marines if I had to - in a passing thought of course- that is if I were to die- -not that I would act stupid and get my buddies killed - but but those Cowards in the Gulf would NOT sally forth and give me Battle Churls the lot of them... oh well perhaps they feared the air power I held from on High. For at my Beck and call was their Death from Above.., Not the Almighty but a Chair force and a volley that game from cannon ... but that was long ago...

In this movie it is just my fat civilian self casually observing a monument to the Dead and the valor they left and me alive...

I went to Palau in February for Vacation...

I swam, I rented bicycles, I ate GOOD FOOD...

Who will eat who - No no I NEVER touch Sea life or harm coral - this is as close as I got...



Maybe I should go to Japan and teach next...



But Palau is sweet to ... What a charming Palau Lass:



Airport Security in Palau is done by these happy young ladies. They were like almost all the Palau people I met kind, helpful, and cheerful.
